The History of Singer Pianos

The Singer Piano Company was established in 1884 in Chicago, Illinois. In the early 1900’s, Steger & Sons Piano Manufacturing Company bought out the company, and production of the Singer line moved to Steger, Illinois. The Singer line of pianos was discontinued sometime in the late 1920’s. [1] 

About Singer Pianos

Unfortunately, there is very little information available about Singer pianos. The few instruments that have come through the market in recent years are attractive with beautiful touch. [2]
