Heine

The History of Heine Pianos

The Heine Piano Company was a West Coast piano manufacturer that was established in San Francisco in 1889. The Krell Piano Company actually produced Heine pianos for several years in addition to the company manufacturing its own instruments. The Heine Piano Company stopped manufacturing pianos in the early 1900’s. [1]

About Heine Pianos

Heine produced uprights and baby grand pianos, as well as player pianos. Since this brand stayed fairly localized on the West Coast, little information is available about the tonal quality and internals of Heinz pianos.
