This 1909 Steinway Model A is currently undergoing a comprehensive, uncompromising restoration in our shop. This includes the installation of a brand new soundboard, new bridge caps, a new pin block, and new strings. The action is also being completely replaced with new hammers, shanks, flanges, wippens, and back checks. The original keys are being fitted with premium new keytops for a flawless touch. Visually, the classic Ebony Satin cabinet is being fully stripped, repaired, and beautifully refinished. The harp is being rebronzed, and all hardware is being re-plated in striking nickel.
