Todd Lindeblad was extremely helpful. I saw the piano a 1936 Steinway model S online and knew it would be mine. I put a deposit on it and was given 24 months interest free loan to pay for it. I now have my own piano bar and the focal point is the piano in my living room. The delivery guys were awesome. This company knows their stuff. I’m so glad I finally but the bullet. I like nice stuff and this totally exceeded my expectations. I had the piano playing songs before the delivery guys left and they were just as impressed. I don’t have much more room for a larger piano but they have a trade in policy as well. Someday I’d love to go to their store and see everything behind the scenes which if you go to YouTube they have some great videos. I can’t say enough about this company. I couldn’t be happier with the piano that was just delivered to my beach home in Milford, Connecticut. I had almost given up hope that I could obtain a Steinway Model S in excellent condition- delivered to my front door in white glove service fashion. Not only is the piano impeccably painted a white satin, but the brass fittings are spectacular! The piano has been tuned and regulated. I was amazed at the quality of the sound- after a move in 95 degree, humid weather conditions. The service I received from the Lindeblad family was beyond outstanding! Todd Lindeblad doesn’t just sell instruments, he genuinely cares about each and every instrument he builds. Lindeblad’s service is exemplary. Having taught piano for nearly four decades, I have had many dealings with pianos and dealers. Lindeblad Pianos is by far the best, in my opinion.

Very happy purchase. I traded in my old Baldwin console for a Steinway Model S from Lindeblad Piano. Todd is very professional with attention to detail. All my questions are answered promptly.The baby grand arrived in great condition and I've been practicing during the lock down -- definitely a pleasure that ease the "stay-at-home" anxiety. It was in need of extensive restoration, and the end result was nothing short of incredible. Along the way, everyone maintained the highest standards of professionalism. First-class, all the way. I was impressed with the knowledge and responsiveness of the team members who reached out to me, notably Chad Tomlin, Robert Parker, Paul Lindeblad, Laverne Valencia, and Karen Higgins. The movers are to be commended for their excellent communication in coordinating the pick-up and delivery. As for the piano, it is gorgeous, inside and out, and the sound and action are sublime. After a long hiatus, I am excited to be returning to my music with my newly restored Steinway. Kudos to the Lindeblad team!!
Amazing experience with the Lindeblad team. I purchased a historic Steinway (previously belonged to the Duke and Duchess of Windsor) and it needed lots of love. From the moment they picked it up at my home in California to the moment it was returned, they kept me updated...sent me pictures, etc., etc. The final product...awesome!! I would absolutely recommend Lindeblad Piano Restoration without hesitation.
I just received delivery of a beautiful antique Steinway size A1 piano that was made in about 1880 by the Steinway people in New York. I saw this piano advertised on the Lindeblad web site and was impressed with it’s presentation by Paul Lindeblad in a video. I searched other Steinway offerings by many Steinway restoration companies, but was impressed with the detailed and honest representation by Paul, the owner of the Lindeblad Company. Upon contacting the Lindeblad Company, Paul’s son Todd gave my wife and myself a tour of their comprehensive piano restoration facility, this further gave me confidence in making my decision to purchase the piano from them. I am an amateur 85 year old man that fondly remembers my mother saying to me, as I stared with those red John Thompson beginning piano books, that someday I would thank her for insisting that I take music lessons.... thank you Mom, I now own a beautiful Steinway piano and love playing it and listening to it’s great sound. It was a great experience working with Lindeblad Piano Restoration. They completely restored a 1945 Steinway S for me, and it came out looking brand new. The finish on the cabinet was amazing, and every moving part was replaced. The harp was polished to mint condition, and the sound board fully restored. I toured their factory in New Jersey, and you get a sense that they love what they are doing and are dedicated to provide a superior product. Most of my dealings were with Todd Lindeblad, who was super easy to work with, and answered all my questions promptly and knowledgeably. They did not tag on any unexpected charges, and provided free shipping from New Jersey to San Diego, and even installed the piano on the second floor at no extra charge. I would highly recommend Lindeblad for their customer service, expertise, and workmanship.
Absolutely the most professional company I've ever had the pleasure of working with. They carefully moved my piano from Vermont to NYC, and after a minor issue with the legs not making the initial delivery, they went WAY above and beyond what was expected to correct their mistake, even coming all the way to Brooklyn with temporary legs in the interim so I could get playing my new piano. They made sure I felt taken care of every step of the way, were incredibly apologetic about their flub, and stayed in close communication about their efforts to make it right.
