“I am an 80 year old woman who has played piano since I was four years old. When I left my home and moved into a senior housing complex, I sold my grand piano. I bought a cheap one from a music store, but its tone bothered me. So I went online to look for a new piano. Of course, I wanted a Steinway. I found Todd Lindeblad's site and contacted him. I do not have the money for a Steinway, but Todd ha…”
Families, musicians, and institutions have trusted Lindeblad for generations to find their perfect piano.
My piano has been in the family for nearly 100 years - purchased by my grandfather as an anniversary present for my grandmother in the 1920's. It was clearly showing its age. I considered having Steinway restore it, but then discovered Lindeblad. Working with Todd was a pleasure, as he offered me flexibility and options to restore what I wanted, and how I wanted it done. He guided me toward the best possible outcome. The result is spectacular. I now own a brand new 1927 masterpiece, which looks and sounds amazing. Please see the attached before and after photos, and judge for yourself. I highly recommend Lindeblad, whether you are restoring your own heirloom, or are considering purchasing from their inventory. Quality is what you'll get.
The people at Lindeblad are professionals in the highest sense of the word. Their work is meticulous and they could not have been more helpful. I was able to buy a sensational piano at a reasonable price. Several professional pianists played the piano in my apartment at a recital and raved about the high quality of the instrument.
From the very first phone call through the delivery and followup calls, I couldn't have asked for more professionalism than I received from every team member at Lindeblad. They knew exactly what I was looking for, discussed my expectations, and delivered my most cherished possession. They were recommended to me by one of their clients, and I happily recommend them to anyone searching for their special piano.
I had an absolutely wonderful experience with the Lindeblad family. I recently decided to return to the piano after a 15-year hiatus. I was interested in getting an upright given space considerations and my lack of recent practice. Deep down, though, I had hoped that I'd eventually be able to justify a really wonderful Steinway. My good friend introduced me to Todd, and we hit it off immediately. He stepped me through a few great upright options and then explained how I can always trade in my upright (at par!) if I decide to upgrade to grand. I decided to go with one of his recommendations and he had it to my house in Virginia in under a month. Todd was in touch several times during the delivery process, and was an absolute gentleman to work with. Separately, in our first conversation, I had also explained that I currently have 2 young boys and that I was a little anxious about finding practice time. He described the QuietTime system--an add on for an upright or grand--that would allow me to play silently into a headset. I ended up going with this system and am blown away. It has no impact on the piano action--I believe that it uses an optical sensor and then simply blocks the hammers from hitting the strings. It's been an absolute game changer and allows me to practice a lot more than I had anticipated as a young dad. I'm now 3 months into my return to piano, and I know that I'll be back to Lindeblad in a few years for that Steinway grand!
Bought a baby grand piano from Lindeblad. All representatives of the company were helpful, professional, and accomodating. Price of the piano was exceptionally reasonable. There was a significant delay on my end for taking delivery of the piano, but almost a year after purchase, I contacted them and they covered delivery and tech tuning/setup as originally agreed. Thanks for the great piano :)
I recently purchase a Kayserburg GH160C - 2022. This is my first personal piano purchase entirely on my own and first with Lindeblad but it will definitely not be my last. From the first time I came across the Lindeblad website, to the marketing, the follow up, the you tubes, the emails/texts/calls, the purchase process, calls/conversation with Karen and delivery with Jamil - Todd and his team are first class and treat clients like family. Todd takes the time to listen to what you are looking for in a piano and understand your goals with the piano and provides the best option for the price point. The team, the process, the service and the follow up are just as impeccable as the pianos they deliver. Lindeblad doesn’t sell pianos…they build relationships for life. They care and appreciate their clients, and it shows. The Kayserburg is great, my plan has become a reality and our future is bright because of Lindeblad. Lindeblad has my business and referrals for life! With much gratitude, my heartfelt thanks, -Dan Dallas, Texas
Buying a refurbished piano from Lindeblad Piano Restoration was an excellent experience. I was guided through the selection process without feeling rushed and all my questions were answered even though I was remote. Communication did not cease after making a purchase as I was still kept well informed about delivery updates. The delivery itself was quick and professional and I love how the piano looks and sounds in my home. I would certainly recommend Lindeblad Piano Restoration to anyone, but especially to those looking to buy a refurbished piano remotely. It’s clear that Todd and his team really care about making sure that their customers are comfortable during the piano buying process and happy with the outcome.
We recently purchased a restored 1902 Mason & Hamlin piano from Todd at Lindeblad. The whole experience was great. We happen to live 45 minutes from the showroom, so we were lucky to have the opportunity to try out about dozen gorgeous pianos. Todd was kind enough to take to his restoration facility as well, where we tried out a bunch more. He was very patient with us, answered all our questions, and once we decided, he addressed the very minor issues the piano had before delivery. We've had the piano about a month now and are very pleased with our purchase and with the attention we got from Todd. Highly recommended if you are looking for a beautiful instrument.
I have bought and sold several pianos in my lifetime and Lindeblad is by far the most professional and customer-centric outfit I have ever had the privilege of doing business with. I recently purchased a Ritmüller grand from Todd who could not have been more helpful and responsive throughout the purchasing process. His delivery crew managed by a gentleman named Matt was top-notch - they drove the piano to my house in Massachusetts and managed to lug it through my yard and up a very complicated staircase, after which they installed it in my living room just as I wanted it. The after-sale support and follow up from Karen in customer service has been absolutely fantastic as well. I would trust these people with my life and would very enthusiastically recommend them if you are looking for a quality piano and outstanding customer service. A+.

Buying a piano from Lindeblad Pianos is an experience that takes you back to a time where craftsmanship and customer relationships really matter . The showroom is extraordinary! The space is impressive and huge , brimming with beautiful pianos . We were invited to play each one , for as long as we wanted , until we found “ our” piano . Our Yamaha upright was delivered a few days later , at no additional charge . After the piano arrived, we were contacted by the piano tuner , who told us to let the piano settle in it’s new environment , and made a complimentary appointment to tune the piano in its new home . The piano tuner , a true craftsman, meticulously tuned the piano , even coming out again at no charge , to make sure it sounded perfect. Months after we bought the piano , the adjustable bench developed a squeak , and Lindeblad immediately delivered another bench to swap out . We love our Yamaha upright , and when we are ready for a new piano , possibly a baby Grand , the cost of this piano will be credited to our future piano ! Buying this piano has been an amazing experience Lindeblad is a multi generational family business and their personal care , and attention to detail makes us happily feel like we are forever part of their family!

He also made a video of himself playing the piano. This shiny, ebony piano now resides in my living room. I am extremely pleased with this entire encounter and with my piano. Lorraine Leidholdt
