From the initial inquiry to final delivery of our Steinway Model L, every step of the process was smooth, efficient, and very professional. A shoutout especially to Todd and Sean for making the restoration of the piano a priority and a success. Not only were they very accommodating but also demonstrated a level of hospitality I have not seen in any other company. I highly recommend Lindeblad for any and all piano restoration needs!

Recently I had my father's Steinway L refinished by Lindeblad. The process from the time I contacted Lindeblad till the piano restoration work was completed was excellent. This included a tour of the facility and meeting several Lindeblad Family & team members. The organization is extremely professional and they clearly take great pride in the work that they do. Also, because of damage that had occurred to the piano, the restoration work was challenging. In the end, the piano looks fantastic, sounds fantastic, and hopefully will remain in the family for generations to come. Your piano will be in great hands with Lindeblad.

I've been playing for 40 years. And I'm picky. I finally had the opportunity to buy a great piano. My piano tuner said that if I went to Lindeblad I would be happy. So I went to the showroom and the factory and played about 20 pianos for a long time. Todd was very friendly and opened up the showroom, went back to his office and let me bang on a ton of pianos for a long time. I said that I wanted this kind of frame, those kind of hammers and this kind of action. They restored the piano I picked with new parts. I went back and played it and said I wasn't quite happy. So they went back through the piano and replaced some hardware and lightened the action. It just came this morning at 10, and I played it until 3 when I started teaching (I am a piano teacher). EDIT: It has now been 6 months, and this piano and I have gotten to know each other pretty well. I had one question about something and they sent Jose over and didn't charge me. This piano plays like a dream and sounds amazing!

It is a pleasure to recommend Lindeblad Piano Restoration. I recently purchased a Steinway L from the company, and the shop did an absolutely stellar job. Both the musical and visual aspects of the restoration were executed at an extremely high level. Perhaps as important, however, is that the Lindeblad team demonstrated the highest level of customer service that I have ever experienced in making a purchase of any kind.

I am extremely satisfied with my experience purchasing from Lindeblad Piano. During the process, Todd and his team were incredibly responsive to my inquiries and transparent in their communications and it was clear that they take a customer-centric approach to their business execution. Patience is needed during the restoration process, but the finished product is worth the wait; my piano tuner remarked that the restoration Lindeblad did on my near century old Louis XV case mahogany Steinway exceeded any restoration he had ever seen. I recommend this business for anyone in the market for an antique Steinway.

We had an outstanding experience purchasing our Steinway Model L from Lindeblad Piano. Pricing was transparent and the purchase price was more than fair. Financing was a snap. The delivery process was excellent. The service provided by Todd Lindeblad exceeded all expectations. He answered all of our questions promptly and had great insight into matching a piano with our needs. Finally, the proof is in the product: the quality of the piano in terms of its action and how it sounds is amazing! Competitive pricing, outstanding service, and an exceptional piano. Who could ask for anything more?

I’m a professional pianist. Last year I discovered a crack on the soundboard of my 1923 Steinway L and I started researching having the piano rebuilt. It was a delightful process since I went with Lindeblad pianos. The package included shipping both ways (CA to NJ) and I was provided with a loader grand piano while my piano was away. While the piano was in their shop, I was also given a tour while I happened to perform in NYC. Not to mention the immaculate new soundboard they put in - I couldn’t be happier. Highly, highly, highly recommended.

One year ago we sold our home in the Philadelphia area and moved to Charleston. Lindeblad picked up our 1930 L Grand and lovingly restored it during the time it took to have our new home built. They communicated with us during the process and arranged for our "baby" to be very professionally delivered and set up for us last Thursday. They also arranged for it to be tuned today. They take pride in their work and covered all the details to be sure our piano is well taken care of. Working with Sean and his co-workers was wonderful - a truly memorable, worthwhile, and remarkable experience. They really love, know, and value Steinways, and we highly recommend working with them.

I spent a few months researching how and where I was going to acquire my Steinway. I luckily discovered the Lindeblad family. I am thrilled to report that my perfectly restored 1934 Model L not only looks beautiful, it sounds and plays beautifully. Paul was so knowledgeable and generous with his time figuring out hammers and weightings (covid prevented me from visiting the factory although I would have been welcomed) and he nailed it. Todd has been incredibly helpful ensuring that every detail was attended to. There was some minor damage during the delivery (I'm in Toronto, Canada) but Todd was on it immediately arranging technicians to make sure it was perfect and that I was happy. The attention to detail and the level of service provided was exceptional. These are also some of the nicest folks you'll ever meet. I always felt that I was in good hands. The piano was restored beyond my expectations. I love playing it and would recommend the Lindeblads to anyone interested in acquiring a quality piano.
