Hello 13 years ago after retirement from my classroom. It was my joy to find the Steinway that would speak to me. Reminiscent of the 1908 I had had in my music room. I am living proof that good things come to those who are willing to search for and wait for, so inquiring from Boise Idaho to Queens, New York, somehow New Jersey brought Lindeblad Piano Company. I choose to believe it was a GOD thing. I flew to Pinebrook met the professional personal staff at Lindeblad. I felt so comfortable they made me feel special. All questions were answered, all requests satisfied. Now, my sweet model A has had its debut in Sheridan Wyoming. Thank you, Todd, Sean, Karen, MiJung, and Kyriacos.

Lindeblad lovingly restored my mother-in-law’s 1904 Steinway Model A, and even restored the original ebony color for me. Todd was great to work with and patiently answered all of my questions. If he couldn’t, he always connected me with someone who could. They sent multiple detailed videos explaining the piano’s current condition and their recommendations for restoration. The end result was better than I ever could have imagined. The piano is gorgeous and plays/sounds amazing! I would highly recommend Lindeblad to anyone looking to restore a piano.

Excellent experience with a major overhaul, inside and out, to my 1910 Steinway model A by Lindeblad. They were attentive and responsive from the very beginning to the very end, all at a fair price.

My experience with Lindeblad was unexpected but unsurpassed. I'd been piano shopping for a year and couldn't find the right piano for me. I had emailed Todd about a piano but it was sold and to my surprise he emailed me regularly about other opportunities. A Steinway came up I thought would be nice to try out so I made an appt. Did Todd simply sit me at that piano when I arrived? No, I met him at the shop and toured the facility, met Paul Lindeblad and a number of the craftsman and women rebuilding pianos. He had me play 3 or 4 at the shop then we went to their showroom. He had me play at least a dozen pianos of various vintage, hammer styles etc to see what tone and feel I liked. I then played the piano I came for and loved it. But Todd wanted to know what I didn't like as much as what I liked. Paul Lindeblad came over and they discussed ways of adjusting the touch to my liking. I did buy the piano and have to say it was not just a purchase, but an experience and an education. They are extremely personal and want nothing more than to help match you with the right piano. I can't recommend Lindeblad enough. Check them out and you will have a great experience.

With the help of Chad, I purchased a 1910 Steinway A (6'2) in the beginning of July 2020. All along the way, Chad answered any and all questions, sent pictures of the process, and even threw in a new Jansen artist bench and Dampp chaser system at no additional charge. It was basically a complete rebuild. With attention to historical accuracy, the whole instrument was recreated. New pinblock, sitka spruce soundboard made by Galo, a Steinway Master craftsman for 30 years, new swedish steel strings, new tuning pins, and an entire action rebuilt with Renner parts, including bluepoint hammers. beautiful new keytops, nickel-plating of the original hardware, rebronzing of the cast iron harp, and refinishing of the cabinet, brought this antique piano into the 21st century. it looks stunning. Paul Lindeblad and his team regulated the action and created the touch weight to feel exactly like the Steinway D's i have played on in concert halls! The voicing was even customized to work best with the type of music i play. I have a concert level instrument in my living room. What's even better is, according to Paul, in 6 months it will get even better! The piano will "settle', the parts will "marry" even more, and an even more amazing Steinway will be created. i can't wait. This has changed my life.

Paul Lindeblad is a master technician who has made my 1907 Steinway Model A into a world class musical instrument that surpasses all expectations. It was not weighted properly and had variances in tone, and I was concerned that it would never be the piano i had hoped for. Paul took the time to discuss in detail the many options and levels of improvements that could be made to it, and he delivered not only what he promised but ever so much more. My 1907 Steinway sounds absolutely magnificent and has a touch that invites constant playing. Because of Paul's diligence and technical prowess, it is now weighted properly and produces bell tones that are most soothing to the ear. I absolutely love playing my antique Steinway and am proud to have anyone else make it sing. Lindeblad cannot be beaten in terms of customer service. Its responsiveness, attention to detail and easy going dialogue make it the recognized Steinway restoration center of excellence. Lindeblad's management and staff are top notch professionals who put customer service first -- an excellent business model -- and it shows in all they do. I am forever grateful to Lindeblad for being there for me. Todd and Paul Lindeblad have made my Steinway the piano of my dreams! Thanks Lindeblad!

First let me give you some of my background in pianos. I have been playing piano for more than 30 years (since 5 years old), and I was lucky enough to own (or rather, my parents owned) a few grand pianos, including Steinway and Bösendorfer. Although I am not a concert pianist, I do have perfect pitch and am very musical. So I am very picky of the sound and tone of a piano I like. Our experience with Todd was really fantastic. Not only was he very flexible with his schedule, but he also spent quite some time giving us a tour to both his showroom and restoration facility. He gave us many details on the process of what and how they approach restoring a piano. Most importantly, they are true experts in restoring, adjusting, and voicing their pianos. We visited the official Steinway store in NYC before we purchased from Lindeblad. We tried both new and restored models at Steinway. Although I really enjoyed the sound quality and work at the Steinway store, I don’t feel any systematic difference in the quality of the sounds between pianos restored by Steinway vs. Lindeblad. This is, however, not true with other piano shops we visited - where the quality and condition of the pianos varied greatly. We ended up purchasing a fantastic Steinway L and couldn’t be happier. Lindeblad arranged delivery in two days! We are very lucky to be located locally. Their showroom also has an extensive piano school with ten active teachers. We believe in their expertise, professionalism, and was very impressed with the exceptional customer service. Todd was very easy to get a hold of, responded quickly, and always followed up. We highly recommend them!

I never write reviews, literally never....until now. I have never had customer service from ANY company as great as I received from Lindeblad Piano's from Todd, to his dad the technician, to the delivery driver, to the office folks who followed up by phone within 5 minutes of the piano being delivered. I am literally shocked at how good my experience was. Not to mention the quality of the piano, the restoration of it, the tuning, the regulation, the voicing, all superb. I cannot recommend this company enough. I wish I had more superlatives but I really enjoyed the process and the communication throughout, especially since it was right in the middle of the Covid19 pandemic when it could have been very easy to not follow up. I am now a customer for life and will recommend them to anyone wanting to buy a piano or have one restored. The service alone from this company has restored my faith that good old fashioned customer service is not dead! Bravo Todd and Co!!!

Lindeblad Pianos Restoration just finished my 1912 Model A Steinway. Their customer service is top notch and they are very good at communicating. The final results on my piano are nothing short of spectacular. My piano has been in the family for almost 50 years. It had fallen into a disastrous state. The Lindeblad magic brought it back to its former glory. I essentially now have a 112 year old brand new piano. You can trust Lindeblad with your family heirloom.

I really can't say enough about the unbelievable customer service from Lindeblad Piano. I was looking for a Steinway A, they found one for me, sold it to me at a reasonable price, then restored it meticulously, with my budget in mind, letting me choose exactly what parts and finish I wanted, keeping me involved in the process every step of the way. Their work and craftsmanship is second to none. The piano plays beautifully and looks amazing. I looked in local showrooms for months, and couldn't find a comparable piano at anywhere near their price. But the thing that really blows me away is their concern that you are happy and satisfied, after the sale is finished, they truly love their work, and stand by it, their main concern really is that you have a piano that you will love to play for the rest of your life, not just making a profit. Paul Lindeblad would call me almost daily initially to make sure I was involved and satisfied with every aspect of the piano restoration. He is like an old friend, with a vast body of experience and knowledge about Steinway pianos. Where can you find that today? It's unheard of. I really feel the pianos coming out of their shop, once restored, are as good or better, than new Steinways, at a fraction of the cost. If you are in the market for a Steinway, call them now. Their dedication to this lost craft , will blow you away!!
