Production Coordinator
The Production Coordinator is responsible for facilitating the smooth daily operation of the facility. This position reports to and assists the Director of Operations, and coordinates with the Director of Sales on planning for incoming workflow.
Responsibilities
This position does not require experience with pianos. What is required is a broad set of skills applicable to a manufacturing environment, and the ability to adapt these skills to customized restoration processes.
- Maintain the overall work schedule. Receive and verify the specifications for each project, collaborate with the Director of Operations to determine the required material and personnel resources, and continually adapt the plan in order to stay on time, and within budget.
- Locate arriving customer pianos, documenting their condition, and parts included. Maintain files with all records and photos.
- Enter and update jobs in the Master Production spreadsheet.
- Experience with ETO systems a plus.
- Create jobs and tasks in Harvest and Asana, and continually update these as needed.
- Publish work orders, ensure these are attached to pianos, and put in relevant work queues.
- Order materials needed for projects to proceed smoothly.
Skills and Experience Sought
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, especially in a custom, or engineered to order operation.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field a plus, but not required.
- Proficient with MS and Google suites, Salesforce, and able to learn new software. Knowledge of Asana & Harvest software is a plus.
- Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment.
Job Features and Compensation
- Position is on-premises at our Restoration Center located in Dover, NJ.
- Full time, weekdays, approximately 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

All piano restoration work is performed at Lindeblad Piano's Restoration Center in Dover, New Jersey by a staff of 25+ skilled technicians.

Senior Piano Action Technician
We are seeking a qualified Senior Piano Action Technician. A qualified candidate should have at least 5 years of experience working in the field.
Duties of an Action Technician
Comprehensive work on all mechanical aspects of pianos, including:
- Assembling piano actions
- Regulating piano actions
- Installing and regulating dampers
- Tuning and voicing
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Work on site in Dover, NJ.
- Full time, 40+ hours a week.
- Track time spent on tasks, using company systems.
- Be able to complete projects within an allotted time frame.
