CBS host John Elliot visited our restoration facilities on Monday, March 29th to commemorate World Piano Day and get an inside look at our processes.

Founded by German musician Nils Frahm and celebrated on the 88th day of every year in honor of the number of piano keys, World Piano Day honors pianists and their instruments everywhere.

Elliot speaks to owners Todd and Paul Lindeblad about the complex mechanics and craftsmanship that goes into restoring each piano. With over 12,000 parts in each piano, restoration of each instrument requires dedication and detailed understanding of every part.

Check out the full segment below to learn more about the individual restoration processes and learn why there’s no other instrument like the piano.
